  Sneaky: 11. g4! is an interesting move. White gets to start his pawnstorm quickly, since Black won't take the offer. But how would white procede if 11 ... Nxg4?

Yes! But then what? I see this:

11. ...Nxg4?! 12. Rg1 Nf6 13. Bh6 Ne8 14. Bd3 and perhaps there is too much pressure on the Black kingside.

A position very similar to this opening, by the way, can arise out of the Nimzo Indian with ...c5. And in that opening, the g4! thrust also works.
