  fredthebear: Wow! 17.Nxf7 is a pretty decoy sacrifice followed up by 18.Rd8+ offering a deflection sacrifice to remove the queen's defender so the Black king can not accept the rook's offer. Then the X-ray check by the dark-squared bishop would force the Black queen to intervene and be lost.

Man, Diemer could really land the haymakers!!
