Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-04-05  dac1990: This is the shortest decisive game of the tournament, but the position is not totally lost after 20 ...Be6. Why resign?
Sep-06-05  Shams: 20...Be6 21.Qh6 Rg8 22.Nh5 Be8 23.Rae1 is a simple win.
Sep-06-05  ajile: How does the bishop get from e6 to e8 in 1 move?
Sep-07-05  Shams: I meant Bd8 to cover e6- the other bishop. Thanks. 20...Be6 21.Qh6 Rg8 22.Nh5 Bd8 23.Rae1.
Sep-08-05  Shams: now I feel really stupid. Bd8 covers the f6 square, not e6. good grief.
Nov-01-10  Whitehat1963: Help! I don't see the trouble with 17...exf4.

Nov-01-10  Whitehat1963: Thank you, <Sastre>!

Alex Schindler: Doesn't Be6 neutralize the threat of Bxg6 by connecting the rooks? it looks overwhelming for white, so I guessed the moves right in guess-the-move, but I didn't calculate them through to a forced win and don't actually see one here.
