Dec-29-05  Averageguy: I'm impressed that AJ managed to win this game, I thought that black was winning the whole way through.
Dec-29-05  KingG: 42...Bg7! would probably have drawn, for example 23.Bxg7 Kxg7 24.Kxe4 Kf6=

LIFE Master AJ: One of my more interesting B+P endings ... from a tournament where I went 5-0.

OhioChessFan: Hard to believe White won this after the position you find at move 30. I don't care for 32...b5 at all. Maybe Black thought the extra Pawn on the Kingside offset the outside passer.

OhioChessFan: I ran it through Fritz and he hates 37...Be7. He prefers Bb7 with an equal game. He liked 39. h7 much more than Bb7. I suppose both players were short on time then. 42...e3 was the last mistake. As AJ suggested on the analysis page, 42...Bg7 and Black was okay.
