  FSR: <Grandpa> You weren't just imagining it - Lasker's position WAS desperate. Sometimes if one has a big initiative two minor pieces can be enough for a queen. When the holder of the minor pieces has his QR and QN slumbering on their initial squares while all of the other guy's pieces are developed - not so much.

  Stonehenge: Yes, it's quite possible. In the newspaper article it looks like this game was played in the Scheveningen simul but it is not clear.
