Jul-08-06		Ulhumbrus: <Cyphelium> I begin to think that instead of 27...Rh6, the plan of ...Nh5 and ...Nf4 might have been better, with perhaps the manoeuvre ...Be7-d8-c7 omitted as well, so as to produce an attack, with colours reversed, similar to that in the exhibition game which Bobby Fischer won against Ulf Andersson at Siegen.

There are always times where a certain player can be in his prime and score a definite win on a game. yes, anand did get himself caughtup in this situation.,but point is.....ratings always remain not 100% in par with a players maximum full abiulity. a 2500 player can always be given the benefit of the doubt of giving a play or performance at a 2200-2800 level.:D

Aug-12-07		An Englishman: Good Morning: Curious looking game. It's not often that you see both players in full retreat at the same time as they try to reposition their forces. Compare the position after move 14 with the position after move 22.

Aug-12-07		THE pawn: <King mega> The same «noob» could kick your butt while doing his laundry, eyes closed hanging by a hair on a helicopter while reciting the first 100 digits of the symbol pi, dancing at the same time.

Aug-12-07		lentil: I think anand missed 41. Ng3!!, which uncovers protection of the first rank. after charbonneau finds that move, it's over.

In fact,after move 28,FIVE white pieces are on the first row and NONE in their original position 2RRQN1K. White,in fact wins the game just a few turns later-with back row threats against black's king.
