Judit Polgar vs Veselin Topalov (2007)

Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-15-07  amateur05: As always Topalov makes it look easier than it was. Judit exerted strong pressure on him and by move 20 his position looked shaky. Topalov is mainly praised for his attacking skills. This game demonstrates how good and inventive he can be at defending.
Nov-15-07  grebenarov: That's exactly what I thought too <amateur05>. Strange to see Topalov having to defend while Polgar attacks fiercely! Very classy turnaround by Topalov!
Nov-15-07  Udit Narayan: I'm beginning to like Topalov more and more. His style reminds me of Fischer.
Nov-16-07  capablancakarpov: Yes, Judit said in the press conference that she was excited with his plan, and that after 20.f4 she thought she was winning...
Nov-16-07  thom: I do not like the 26.♘c5? maybe 26. ♘d5 ♗f4 27. ♕xh5 and Judit would be fine... I think.
Nov-16-07  patzer2: In the opening, I prefer 9. Qd2 as in Anand vs Topalov, 2007.
