Oct-31-08  Woody Wood Pusher: 25..Qf4! is a great 'Karpovian' move, wrestling for control of e2 and d2 squares right in white's camp!
Nov-26-08  ronaldducalang: Was Karpov's rating really 2391 during this game?
Apr-15-14  PJs Studio: This is very constrictor-like "simple" game by Karpov (and I mean that with the utmost respect. He casually grabs the initiative and moves in, whilst in control 100% of the time. Massive genius!

  ajk68: What if 25. Qf4 Rfe1, ?
I'm not seeing anything that strong for black.
Apr-15-14  PJs Studio: fxg3 for starters.
Apr-15-14  PJs Studio: ...so white would forced to play the awful 25.Nh1 and after 25...Re2 26.Rb1 Rd2 and black wins.
