Domdaniel: An unexpected end to Short's winning streak?
Sep-07-09  aragorn69: Well, it had to happen sooner or later unfortunately. And playing the Evans gambit isn't the safest route to a draw, even at GM level, is it?
Sep-08-09  cracknik: Maybe his winning streak made him overconfident? He was really steamrolling people for a while.
Sep-11-09  whiteshark: An unsually closed pawn structure for an Evans Gambit. It reminds me more of an English opening.
Sep-11-09  Atking: What's about 14.Nc4 with 15.Nfd2? Then NxNa5 BxNa5 Nc4... 14...c6? 15.BxNf7+ and NorBxd6
14...a6 15.NxBb6 cxNb6 16.Rfb1 Qc7 17.Qb2 Nc4 18.Bc1 and 19.Qa2
Sep-12-09  walker: He cracks under pressure.
