 | | LIFE Master AJ: I have wriiten the CG game staff, they have promised me that this game will be deleted. |
Aug-09-10 | | ughaibu: Any special reason? |
Aug-09-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: Actually - I just sent the CG staff an e-mail. I requested that ALL the "ICC / Internet games" be deleted!!! This includes my wins, my losses or any draws. Its just glorified speed chess, and does NOT belong here with real, slow-chess games. |
Aug-09-10 | | ughaibu: Like, let's delete all the Herceg Novi games, because Goldsby's embarrassed. Get a grip. |
Aug-09-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: I'll have the last laugh when this game is deleted. |
Aug-10-10 | | Jim Bartle: Hold on!! On his player page AJ posted a group of his wins from these events in 2003 and 2004, and asked for them to be <included> in the database. |
Aug-11-10 | | Robed.Bishop: I've played through the game twice. Actually, I'm not sure you'll have the last laugh... |
Aug-11-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: I was told by the CG staff that they thought I had submitted this game. (Of course, I did not.) For all I know, my opponent used a computer. If you check all of White's moves carefully, they match up to a version of Crafy almost 100%. Eventually, I gave up completely on ICC and these Dos Hermanos things. One of the last years that I particpated, players were being tossed evry round on suspicion of using a computer. (TWO GM's, and several IM's were also caught cheating.) Also - in my opinion - these games do not belong here at all. These fast, Internet games have no place with real games. (Games played FACE-TO-FACE, with a real live, human opponent; OTB.) I wrote the CG admins and told them what I thought was the BEST solution, ergo, delete ALL the Internet games! (Wins, losses and draws.) That would be the most equitable, all the way around. Of course, if they insist on publishing these Dos Hermanos games, I have a file with OVER 100 of my best games ... mostly wins and draws. (I did not bother to retain any losses.) |
Aug-11-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: See my player page, (A J Goldsby); for more games where I won. |
Aug-12-10 | | Jim Bartle: That sounds fair. |
Aug-13-10 | | TheFocus: And this is the same guy who submits games against Class C, D, and E players. Proud of beating them up, <AJ>? <AJ> also doesn't believe in postal ratings. Well, I am a postal Expert, domestic and International, and I earned those ratings. Without a computer. |
Aug-13-10 | | Robed.Bishop: <TheFocus>He obviously enjoys not just beating them up, but bragging about it too. Some people just don't know the difference between infamy and fame. |
Aug-18-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: Arse is the same thing as ...
If someone wants to swear, be foul-mouthed or hurl insults, I don't think he belongs on this website. Time (I think) for CG to take action and censor or ban these abusive users. (Is anyone listening?) |
Aug-18-10 | | Jim Bartle: "If someone wants to swear, be foul-mouthed or hurl insults, I don't think he belongs on this website." AJ has thrown many, many insults himself. |
Aug-22-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: I just wrote the staff of this server ... (again)
I requested that:
A.) This game be deleted.
(or)
B.) That ALL of my wins, losses and draws from Dos Hermanos be added to this website. |
Aug-22-10
 | | LIFE Master AJ: Like water dripping on a rock, eventually I will get an answer ... |
Mar-11-11
 | | FSR: Ah yes, AJ beaten by another computer cheater. He should be in the Guinness Book of Records for "fewest games lost to non-computer-aided opponents." |
Mar-11-11 | | lorker: its ridiculous that AJ claims that "glorified speed chess" games should be deleted, yet he posts games against players rated <867> and believes these should be kept in the database. This guy is so ridiculous I don't know why the sit tolerates his antics. On a side note Goldsby's play in this game was pretty pathetic. |
May-13-11 | | hedgeh0g: AJ Goldsby's kibitzing formula:
if opponent = win
then comment = "My opponent cheated."
if opponent = lose
then comment = "My play was flawless."
if challenged
then comment = "Trolls." (with probability 33.3%), "nyuk, nyuk, nyuk" (with probability 33.3%), <arbitrary ad hominem attack> (with probability 33.3%) As you can clearly see from AJ's kibitzing formula, the major source of variation in types of kibitzes relates to responding to criticism, which can take on three basic forms. If we assume variation in the comments themselves follows a normal distribution, with expected values equal to the above types and variance of 4 words, it becomes clear that anything more than ad hominem attacks from Goldsby is highly statistically unlikely. |

May-13-11
 | | perfidious: One thing which is beyond my understanding is how the <Site Narcissist> ever loses an online game. Even I, also a life master, can't begin to compare to such talent. Oh, yes.......White undoubtedly used a computer......fool that I am, I forgot about that. |
May-13-11 | | WhiteRook48: but according to himself, Goldsby is the greatest player ever and his play is absolutely flawless. Therefore, he should be able to defeat a computer such as Crafty with ease- a very easy job for the self-proclaimed greatest player. But he still lost, even though he is obviously the best player ever. Logical inconsistency...? |
May-14-11 | | Robed.Bishop: <WhiteRook48> Ah, you poor fool. As if you, a mere mortal, could see the whole picture. As if logic were enough to penetrate his intricate web. I can't reveal my sources, but I have it on good authority that King Goldsby I IS Rybka, Crafty, and Fritz. He loses to these programs on purpose to protect his true identity as he is the model, indeed the brilliancy, behind these programs. When the time is right, when we can handle the truth, he will brush his tooth, exit his double wide, and reveal to the us the truth. Then we can rename this game Goldsby, and rightly so. Until then, keep your distance from the sun, and don't question the Word. |
May-19-11 | | ChessVip: <<LIFE Master AJ>: I'll have the last laugh when this game is deleted.> Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk |
Jun-14-11 | | adhitthana: <LIFE Master AJ: I was told by the CG staff that they thought I had submitted this game. (Of course, I did not.) > CG would be much the worse without these games (and thats just for the kibizing!) |
Sep-18-11 | | SickedChess: 20...0-0? and 21...cxb5?? are successive black blunders |
