Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-08-12  hellopolgar: Classical games: Veselin Topalov beat Vassily Ivanchuk 15 to 9, with 23 draws.
Nov-08-12  Olavi: These stats are very unreliable. I believe 13-8 is correct. Similarly I just noticed that chessgames.com has Anand winning 6 classical games vs Kasparov, while it is general knowledge that he only ever won 3.
Nov-08-12  goldenbear: Isn't 28.Qxe6+ an unpleasant endgame for Black?
Nov-08-12  Olavi: Black can never be worse with those weak white pawns.
Nov-08-12  Atking: <Olavi> is right. If I have to choose my side I will take black here. Piece activity show a balance but not the pawn structure. May be 36...a5 was too prophylactic and 36...Nd2 a better concrete try 37.Rf2 Nc4 38.Nc5 Re7 39.a4 a5 40.b3 Ne3+ ~ 41...b6 then 42...Re4 threatening d4 and g4.
