Apr-30-14  beenthere240: How can you play for so long and still have so many pieces?

offramp: This really is a load of rubbish, although black's king's rook deserves some sort of medal.
Apr-30-14  DrAttitude: Easily one the most remarkable game I have ever witnessed.

Check It Out: This one is fun to watch on high speed to watch the pieces dance.
Apr-30-14  Chess for life: This must be some kind of record for most consecutive moves of the same piece (25) in a top-level game.
Apr-30-14  mbvklc: This game is somehow ridiculous and amazing at the same time.
Apr-30-14  SirRuthless: Reminds me of some of nakamura's vs computer battles from the days of yore... Both players were laughing during their vigorous post-mortem before the interview. The video is very entertaining with the arbiters/sponsors and hosts crowded around the board as they recreated various positions and argued about them.
Apr-30-14  rogl: I hope kingscrusher makes a one-hour video about this game since it was soooo exciting...
Apr-30-14  kellmano: Amusing game. What are you going to do? asks Radja. Repeatedly.
Apr-30-14  Chess for life: "Longest series of moves by one piece" section on Krabbe's chess records page: http://timkr.home.xs4all.nl/records....
May-01-14  ChessYouGood: <SirRuthless: “Days of yore”>??! Seriously now. If you are referring to the ICC draw Nakamura has in the database with Rybka in 2007, we’re not exactly talking about a bygone era, now are we? I suppose, Sir, that unapologetic disregard for making sensible comments is what makes you just so damned Ruthless. Let’s clarify regarding the substance of the comparison as well: the 2007 Rybka draw is a simple and familiar case of locked pawns and opposite bishops, where Nakamura decides to keep pointlessly shuffling. This game is different. Radjabov, from about move 24 correctly realises that he has achieved equality in a far more complex position and so starts repeating moves, hoping to agree a draw. Nakamura, on the other hand, appears to think he has an advantage, tries and then fails, over the next 50 moves or so, to realise one.
May-01-14  SirRuthless: And Nakamura and radjabov made a comment that they were just playing to pass the time before the closing ceremony and both knew they had no chance. The entire game after move 25 or so was a gag. A joke. Relax.
Feb-01-17  Sularus: game with probably the most number of consecutive moves by a rook :)
Nov-18-17  John Abraham: amazing!!
