Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-14-14  AndrewMD: Vocaturo run out of bullet. Nice, defence is the best offense.
Dec-24-14  kardopov: What a gem! Wesley just outpositioned Vocaturo. The ending has both players with equal pieces but White is set to gobble black's queenside pawn. This is a good lesson of how to create many option for your pieces leaving your opponent no room to plug loopholes in his position. This is just the trend in top-level, classical play. Good job Wesley.
Dec-24-14  Gilmoy: Well, no, Black sacked an N and got nothing for it. Piece down, canonical KID very-bad B, and b5 still doubled.

White threatens Qg4-Qc8+ trading Qs, and Black has no pawn moves to even waste time.

Dec-24-14  kardopov: The move 9. Ne1, I hate doing this kind of move, not until I develop my pieces and takes a strong grasp of the center. I really don't understand the kind of chess these elite GMs are doing.
Dec-24-14  kardopov: Yes, correct Gilmoy. A piece down with no attack at all, better resign to save precious time ;0).
Jan-08-15  Conrad93: < The move 9. Ne1, I hate doing this kind of move, not until I develop my pieces and takes a strong grasp of the center. I really don't understand the kind of chess these elite GMs are doing.>

9. Ne1 isn't really that deep of a move. It just vacates the f3 square so that white can eventually play f4 or f3 to bring his queen or bishop on the kingside, otherwise black can play g5-g4 and start a very storng pawn storm.
