Not bad for a 14th ranked, and ahead of six 2600+ GM's.

Jan-29-11  Whitehat1963: Running away with group C. I think we're gonna see a lot more from this gal in years to come!
Jan-29-11  Shams: <Whitehat1963> Daniele is a man, man.

ketchuplover: He's invisible which really freaks out his opponents.
Jan-30-11  Whitehat1963: I imagine.
Jan-30-11  crazybird: The winner of Group C. Congrats and welcome to group B

ketchuplover: He apparently lost to a 2100 player in Dubai recently
Apr-09-15  Karposian: <ketchuplover: He apparently lost to a 2100 player in Dubai recently>

Yes, and with the white pieces even. It was in Dubai Chess Open. He lost to Amruta Sunil Mokal, an untitled female chess player from India whose current rating is 2075, more than 500 rating points below Vocaturo. Quite the upset.

Aug-27-15  Badmojo: Vocaturo is not progressing at all, a shame.
Jan-03-16  sonia91: <World U18 Champion in 2006> Actually Arik Braun won the World U18 Championship in 2006: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World....

That's a pretty serious mistake.

Feb-03-17  WorstPlayerEver: Good, this is a male. Although it's not mentioned in their profile. Trying to figure out how many females participated in Trans.. I mean Tradewise Giblentar. You know..
Feb-04-17  sonia91: <Badmojo: Vocaturo is not progressing at all, a shame.> Daniele finally crossed 2600 in the January '17 list.

OhioChessFan: 6 years ago, it seemed he was on his way to great heights, after winning Tata Steel Group C (2011) with a great series of games. Tata Steel Group C (2011)/Daniele Vocaturo On the negative side, he lost to Tania Sachdev so maybe the enthusiasm was overstated.
Oct-19-18  sonia91: Congrats to Daniele on winning the individual gold medal on board 5 at the 34th European Club Cup (2018)! He scored 5/5 playing for Obiettivo Risarcimento Padova, which eventually finished 4th on tiebreak: http://chess-results.com/tnr373918....
Nov-05-21  SkySports: It seems his account on Chess.com was closed for violating the fair play policy... https://www.chess.com/member/daniel...
Nov-05-21  SkySports: I noticed just now that he has a different profile: https://www.chess.com/member/diwi89

Probably the other one was a fake, or maybe he didn't initally register as titled player...
