Is there an official explanation why was he banned? At chessgames' chessforum I was told I'd get myself banned, too, if I persist on posting there. It started when I blew the whistle on someone who insulted another user by using the word "autistic" at Tata Steel thread. The user reasoned with me and I decided to give the matter a pass. Then another user called us 'tards' and asked us to <lighten> up and get ourselves <entertained>, to which I asked, rhetorically, as <Tugas Kamagong> would perhaps point out, <"Another ignoramus revealing himself?"> and told him to go fart and <light> his ass which he probably will find <entertaining>. The admins deleted his and my post and retained the post I blew the whistle on, the 'autistic' post.
Surprised, I asked the admins at chessgames chessforum why they deleted my post, asking further: <"Is flaming flatulence foul? Is flatulence flaming foul? Is foul flatulence flaming?"> to express my confusion. The admins deleted my questions, too--without acknowledgment or explanation.I asked again if asking a question is wrong. I was answered by SILENCE. I asked again if they saw my inquiry, waxing philosophical now: <"Did you put me on ignore? My question was buried a page or two down. Did I kibitz if you ignored it? Now this is already a question of philosophy, which I find boring and populated by people I don't understand."> Finally, I got this: <"Jan-19-13 chessgames.com: <Pulo y Gata> I'm sorry, I read your previous post here but wasn't sure if you were serious. You wrote <Would you enlighten me and tell me why two of my recent posts, which I believe did not violate any posting guidelines, were deleted from here and the Tata Steel A thread?> Are you referring to the post where you called another user an ignoramus and then discussed the flammable nature of human flatulence? If you honestly don't know why that violates our posting guidelines please email chess@chessgames.com and I'll be happy to explain it to you."> I interpreted this as admins' approval of using autistic as an insult along with many name-calling and derogatory terms that litter the many pages of this site--as long as the admins allows them. Calling someone ignoramus or implying that someone is acting like one is of course offensive. I posted to this effect, a long, laborious post, which, in retrospect, could have some value if I kept a copy. I also praised the admins' wisdom and grace, they being the gods of this little universe, the arbiter of morality among chesstizens who, in the blink of an eye or the click of a mouse, could renew everything through the <salvation of deletion>, much like the old time's Great Flood, only subtler and without much fatalities, except for the offending chesstizens condemned to electronic perdition, to which this <nanobrain> seems to be included. I also vowed to bring people to chessgames conversion with the same promise and constant threat of renewal through the <salvation of deletion>. Reset your flagging chess clocks, strengthen your shaky hands, renew your vigor and your labors in kibitzing for in the end you shall all receive this salvation. Behold this message of hope. Blessed are those who know how to copy and paste for they shall preserve this message for contemplation. Behold this message of salvation, which will disappear in three, two, one...> |
