  HeMateMe: This was somewhat ignored by the kibitzers. I guess the games got dropped in at the same time as a bigger event.
Jul-30-12  zoren: Past years ago usually generated a lot more interest with Nakamura, return of Kamsky, Loek van Wely, Ray Robson making a splash, and the rise of a number of Filipino GM's.

In a way it's a stepping stone for strong (American) players, few of the above mentioned players had a lot of interviews and it was a good way for them to get on a good footing.
