Oct-19-15 | | Bruce Graham: Missed Gunina's dancing knights in Monaco. Hoping she will provide some flights (or leaps) of fantasy here. |
Oct-19-15 | | waustad: The team from Monaco was all busy then, so they are missing this one. They usually win it handily. |
Oct-20-15 | | siggemannen: Not going too well for miss G so far. But she usually needs a few games to warm up :) |
Oct-20-15 | | Mr. V: It will be interesting, as always, to watch how Goryachkina does against higher rated players. |
Oct-21-15 | | Bruce Graham: <siggemannen> Yes, exactly. Gunning for Gunina seems to be the theme so far. |
Oct-22-15 | | Mr. V: Dzagnidze on fire, even after a poor tournament in Monaco Grand Prix recently |
Oct-23-15 | | waustad: Shen Yang has the lowest performance rating among Chinese players present at the event of either gender with a tpr of 2680. That's not all that shabby. |
Oct-24-15 | | siggemannen: Not a great tourney for Valja :( |
Oct-24-15 | | sonia91: <siggemannen> yeah, she is out of form, before this event she also lost to an IM in the Moscow team championship, I hope she will recover soon |
Oct-24-15 | | sonia91: Nona team won for the second year in a row.
Final standings:
1. Nona 14
2. Gambit 11
3. Ugra 10 |
Oct-27-15 | | fref: What happened to the Cercle d'Échecs de Monte-Carlo? |
Oct-28-15 | | waustad: <fref> Most of them just played at the Grand Prix tournament in Monaco, and I guess they felt that this was too soon. The Muzychuk sisters are playing at Cap d'Adge. |
