Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-19-15  Bruce Graham: Missed Gunina's dancing knights in Monaco. Hoping she will provide some flights (or leaps) of fantasy here.
Oct-19-15  waustad: The team from Monaco was all busy then, so they are missing this one. They usually win it handily.
Oct-20-15  siggemannen: Not going too well for miss G so far. But she usually needs a few games to warm up :)
Oct-20-15  Mr. V: It will be interesting, as always, to watch how Goryachkina does against higher rated players.
Oct-21-15  Bruce Graham: <siggemannen> Yes, exactly. Gunning for Gunina seems to be the theme so far.
Oct-22-15  Mr. V: Dzagnidze on fire, even after a poor tournament in Monaco Grand Prix recently
Oct-23-15  waustad: Shen Yang has the lowest performance rating among Chinese players present at the event of either gender with a tpr of 2680. That's not all that shabby.
Oct-24-15  siggemannen: Not a great tourney for Valja :(
Oct-24-15  sonia91: <siggemannen> yeah, she is out of form, before this event she also lost to an IM in the Moscow team championship, I hope she will recover soon
Oct-24-15  sonia91: Nona team won for the second year in a row.

Final standings:

1. Nona 14
2. Gambit 11
3. Ugra 10

Oct-27-15  fref: What happened to the Cercle d'Échecs de Monte-Carlo?
Oct-28-15  waustad: <fref> Most of them just played at the Grand Prix tournament in Monaco, and I guess they felt that this was too soon. The Muzychuk sisters are playing at Cap d'Adge.
