World Junior Championship (Girls) (2017)

The 35th World Junior Championship for Girls was an 11-round Swiss held in Tarvisio, Italy, 13-25 November 2017. Rest days: 18 & 23 November. Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 nore minutes till the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. No draw offers allowed before move 30. First prize: 2,500 Euros. Organizer: Accademia Internazionale di Scacchi under the auspices of FIDE and the Italian Chess Federation. Chief arbiter: Panagiotis Nikolopoulos.

Zhansaya Abdumalik won with 9.5/11, ahead of Paramzina (2nd) and Yu (3rd on tiebreak).
