Jan-08-07  sitzkrieg: pff. he really still wants to win.
Jan-08-07  sitzkrieg: looks like big trouble for white now, not?
Jan-08-07  percyblakeney: Drawn now.
Jan-08-07  MrPatzer: Another draw.
Jan-08-07  sitzkrieg: Lol its a draw.
Jan-08-07  sitzkrieg: Black cant get out of checks?
Jan-08-07  gorash: <sitzkrieg> he can, but cannot make progress
Jan-08-07  Scarecrow: Well-engineered draw in blitz 1.
Jan-08-07  AdrianP: Can someone post me a link to a place to see games? Thx.
Jan-08-07  percyblakeney: <AdrianP> http://worldcup.pivdenny.com/en/onl...
Jan-08-07  percyblakeney: The transmission suddenly died but it looks as if Leko won.
Jan-08-07  AdrianP: Thanks <pb>.
Jan-08-07  AdrianP: <it looks as if Leko won.> Drat, I had chessbuckies on Chukky.
Jan-08-07  gorash: I don't get it. why did Leko win? the position is not lost for black - in my opinion at least
Jan-08-07  acirce: Congratulations Leko, well deserved!
Jan-08-07  percyblakeney: The last moves must be some kind of relay error, after 24. Qd5+ Ivanchuk has blundered at least a rook.
Jan-08-07  Scarecrow: Congratulations to Leko!
Jan-08-07  cannibal: Yeah, the last moves don't make any sense. Hope they will be corrected soon.
Jan-08-07  gorash: yep, congrats to him, he truly deserved this victory, but I'm still curious how he won blitz #2 :)
Jan-08-07  amadeus: http://worldcup.pivdenny.com/en/onl... gives 25.Qc6??? Qb8???

Damn it. There seems to be a new version, but I can't see it (subscribers players only etc)

Jan-08-07  gorash: playchess has the correct version
Jan-08-07  acirce: ICC gave 24.Qd4 at first too. Might be a new rule that pawns no longer capture diagonally.
Jan-08-07  Wilson H. L.: Well done Peter! Hell, first he won the Tal memorial, then the ACP... He's in shape that's for sure.

Too bad my chessbucks were on Gelfand (however his games against Nakamura and Shirov were pretty good).

Jan-08-07  gorash: if someone's interested (after 24... Be6):
