But you'd want the thread to be self regulating - people getting back into the chess. And in practice that seems to happen. Just annoying when it takes a while - what chess fan wants to have to sift through the off topics or even worse find themselves tempted by the distractions?
Can't find a defence for the agents provocateurs. Pains in the ass. |

You mean he's just one of four co-owners, with two players just half a point behind them. Don't you think Nepo's games are much more interesting than Kramnik's? Kramnik seems to just grind it out, although I admit he had some brilliant games years ago. |

but yes, I love Nepo's style. Kramnik is a Carlsen type player--build up small advantages and strangle your opponent. Nepo goes for the home run. He sometimes whiffs at bat, too... |

I mixed up 2 names. Nepomniachtchi (Nepo) and Nisipeanu in one of my posts. Nepo is very strong. Nisipeanu is just having a very bad tournament.

Of course. But it was not all about you. It's because chess is underrated. In general. What I meant were personal grudges expressed in this thread under the cloak of being happy together here. So yes, I actually had no right to speak. Strictly spoken. However, I was irritated. Because 'I WAS POSTING A BIT TOO MUCH' regarded to a live game thread. While it's the other way around! 'MAYBE THE COMMUNITY WAS POSTING TOO LITTLE'! That annoys me, it takes a lot of effort and attention from me to get everything right during a live game here. While it should be a pleasure to do so; chess is game. In contrast, life is not a game, but we, yes we, seem to be trapped by our own desires. On our way to turn it to one BIG GAME!
