Dunham’s distant cousins include Hans Gutknecht, a Swiss German from Bischwiller, Alsace whose three sons resettled in Germantown, Pennsylvania as well as the Kentucky frontier in the mid-18th century.

Bischwiller ("Field of Bishop") is a small town, but "Le Cercle d’Echecs de Bischwiller" http://bischwiller-echecs.com/wp-co... is one of the best chess clubs in France.

The horse-race is whether Krasenkow can stave off a White check-mate with a perpetual of his own.

Norway Chess 2015, the first event of the Grand Chess Tour (Norway Chess, Sinquefield Cup and Lodon Chess Classic) is approaching. The event will begin on Monday (June 15th) with a blitz event and opening ceremony.
