The Groningen Chess Festival took place 22nd to 30th December 2017. Leading players: Maxim Turov, Benjamin Bok, Sergei Tiviakov, Evgeny Postny, Dmitry Kryakvin, Vojtech Plat, Roeland Pruijssers, Sipke Ernst etc.

Benjamin Bok edged out Evgeny Postny on tie-break after both scored 7/9.
