chessgames.com: Official site http://www.indianchessfed.com/ has a video feed under "live streaming".
Dec-21-12  Whitehat1963: Wonderful start.
Dec-21-12  Jason Frost: Seems like every player taking part has been struggling a bit lately, though still obviously an impressive field for a first time event.
Dec-22-12  shivasuri4: <Jason Frost>, Fabiano Caruana won this event in 2011, so it's not a first time event.
Dec-22-12  shivasuri4: Following the lead of many other tournaments, this one too bars players from offering draws directly. http://www.chessdom.com/aicf-aai-ch...

Natalia Pogonina: Always nice to see a super tournament being held in India. Keep it up!
Dec-22-12  Jason Frost: <shivasuri4> Woops, thanks for the info. Looks like a strong tournament last year as well, especially going by current ratings. Glad they're continuing with the tradition.
Dec-26-12  Blunderdome: Negi was rated 2600 for the first time in Jan 2009. Not a ton of ratings progress from age 15 to 19. It would be cool to see him climb the charts a bit, someone will need to step up for Anand when he retires.
Dec-27-12  Kikoman: And finally Abhijeet Gupta got his first win in the tournament beating the leading Anton Korobov.
Dec-29-12  jamesmaskell: Enjoyable tournament so far, some really good fights and decent streaming of the games too, always a bonus.
Dec-29-12  Refused: Ok, Korobov heading with the lead into the final round.

Gonna be interesting.

And Gupta and Negi play for the <golden pineapple> in their last round encounter. Practically the only board with no player being able to win the tournament.

Dec-30-12  Refused: Nice display by Korobov.

6.5/10 is a great score. Finishing first a full point ahead of Alekseev.

Dec-30-12  Kikoman: Congratulations GM Anton Korobov. :D
