European Club Cup (Women) (2017)

The 22nd European Chess Club Cup for Women was a 7-round Swiss System team tournament held at the Avantgarde Hotel in Göynük, Antalya Province, Turkey, 8-14 October 2017, with the participation of 12 clubs from 8 countries. Of the 51 players, there were 5 GMs and 11 IMs. Each match was played over four boards, with 2 points for a team win and 1 point for a draw. Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 more minutes till the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. First prize: 3,000 euros. Chief organizers: European Chess Union and Turkish Chess Federation. Tournament director: Ozgur Solakoglu. Chief arbiter: Tugan Unal.

Nona of Batumi, Georgia (Dzagnidze, Harika, Batsiashvili, Khotenashvili, Melia) won on tiebreak ahead of Odlar Yurdu (Mamedjarova, Fataliyeva, Mammadova, Balajayeva, Hojjatova), both with 11/14. Bossa Nova (Zhukova, Badelka, Zaiatz, Stetsko) was 3rd on tiebreak with 10/14.

The European Club Cup 2016
