ketchuplover: Maze and Edouard with 1 draw each so far
Aug-28-14  jerseybob: This is not your father's French Championship; they've really got some strong players these days in France.
Aug-29-14  posoo: RICULOUS. Dis is another example of why tournament chess is a JOKE. Draughs should be worth FEWER points then a loss! EDOUARD is da riteful winner

FIDE needs to adopt da Posooian Scoring System for their tonanents.

TWO points win
ONE point loss
ZERO POINTS draugh

These incentives are da ONLY way that da humans can keep up with da compoters!!

Aug-29-14  Everett: <posoo> your suggestion is not a solution, as it would result in players throwing games in the last rounds to secure the best placement.

Perhaps a round of study in game theory would help you out.

perfidious: There is, regrettably, no perfect solution and there will always be players who try to work every angle they can for the smallest of edges.
Aug-29-14  posoo: WRONG again evrit. Dat option will be available to EVRYONE in da tornament so no advantage is gained thereby.

If ANYTHING this will lead to INTENSE fighting chess in da first few rounds as evryone tries to AVOID being one of da fokes forced to throw da games.

da real problem In da PSS is - WHAT to do about games that are draughn by position in da early rounds, but then someone makes an OVIOUS blunder on purpose to avoid da draugh?

At high levels there will have to be an arbiter. BUT I AM TINKERING.

Aug-29-14  kramputz: Your bio <posoo> is terrible. Empty trash talk.Idiotic spelling.
Aug-30-14  PhilFeeley: So who won? It's getting increasingly impossible to tell from <CG.com>'s standings tables.
Aug-30-14  Moszkowski012273: At least he has a bio....
Sep-01-14  jerseybob: Straw: All decisive games? The two draws don't count?
Sep-03-14  posoo: LOL krampoots. ALL DIS from a man who dos not even put spaces in between da words!

ID RATHER have empty trash than full trash hohohoho ;)

perfidious: <posoo: LOL porfoodus, I can ONLY IMAGINE da extent to which Dorfman would ROAL u like a STEEMroller!>

You can only imagine because there is no way you would ever get a sniff of something like this event.

Yup, Dorfman would likely do it, same as he would squash the likes of you--but there were no 2200-type players here.

Nov-05-14  Zonszein: Hello
This Andrei Sokolov is the same that played a Candidates final against Karpov back in the 80's?
