The 22nd Russian Team Championship was held in Sochi between May 1 and May 7, 2015 as an eight-team round robin. Sibir (Novosibirsk), led by Kramnik and Aronian, won the championship with a perfect score of 14/14. Universitet (Belorechensk) started with four straight match wins and secured second place with a last round 3-3 tie against Mednyy vsadnik (St. Petersburg), who placed third.
