Corsica Masters Open (2011)

The 15th Corsica Masters Open was a 9-round Swiss played in Bastia, Corsica, France, 22-28 October 2011, with double rounds on 24 and 26 October. The top 14 players qualified for the Corsica Masters (2011) (which started at 5 pm on 28 October). Time control: 90 minutes for the whole game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. Chief organizer: Léo Battesti and the Corsica Chess Club. Chief arbiter: Akkhavahn Vilaisarn. About 90 games were made available.

Krishnan Sasikiran won with 7.5/9, ahead of Gawain Jones (7/9) and 13 players (of which 12 qualified) with 6.5/9.
