I saw him play an endgame at the World Open (2004); he was amazing -just knocking out moves like there's no tomorrow. But you have to be a little arrogant to play winning-chess: no guts, no glory! |

I saw him at another swiss tournament..and he didn't come across like Beavis or Butthead at all. I'm a solid Nakamura fan from here on out...where can I order a T-shirt?? |

There is a Diane Savereide who plays different games over the internet, though not chess that I've seen. I don't know if it's the same person. |

| Dec-06-04 | | pazzed paun: YES -the tournament is over for now,but go to the offical site and at the very bottom is a crosstable with performance ratings- very impressive performances by Stripunsky and Bercys.
The tournament will be back in San Diego in FEB 2006 (bigger and better)
IF you can travel to it do it!! I would not be suprised if several of the players relocate to SO-CAL |

Having held the title for quite awhile, one would think there would be more info on her to research. Anyway, any info on the gal, I believe, a native Russian named Inna Izrailov who took the title from Diane in 1986? I believe she had the title for that one year only? |
