  GrahamClayton: With this victory, Boris Gulko became the only player to win both the United States and USSR Champions, having won the Soviet Title in 1977.
Jul-03-23  Ninas Husband: In 1994, the World Series was cancelled. The US Chess Championship wasn't. Just sayin'. :)
