Also called the "Klooster tournament", it was played in Hotel De Posthoorn, Ter Apel, in celebration of the town's 500 years old Klooster (Monastery, Cloister). Five rounds in six days, starting on Monday 28 February. Rest day 4 March (15 games). Master candidate Ree beat Larsen and won with 3.5/5.
