The 5th European Championship was a 13-round Swiss tournament held in Antalya Province, Turkey, 15-30 May 2004, with rest days on 19 and 26 May and a day for playoffs on 30 May. The venue was supposed to be Nautilus Hotel in Beldibi (Kemer district), but after a power supply incident on the night before play began it was moved to Justiniano Hotel in Belek (Serik district) on the other side of Antalya City.
