The 8th Sigeman & Co tournament took place at the Hipp Theater in Malmö, Sweden 23-29 May 2000. Rest day: May 26. Instead of the usual 10-player round robin there was a 4-player double round robin. Chief organizer: Johan Berntsen and the Limhamn Chess Club. Tournament category: XV (2622). The Hungarian Judit Polgar won with 4/6.
