Introduction
Played in the rooms of the Centrum Chess Club and the Berlin Chess Society.

"Das Dreimeister-Turnier zu Berlin. [...] Es sind drei Preise im Werte von 100, 60 und 40 M. ausgesetzt. Ueber die Spiel zeit ist vereinbart, dass stündlich von jeder Seite 20 Züge zu erledigen sind und dass an jedem Spiel abend mindestens 40 Züge geschehen müssen. Gespielt wird an jedem Abend der Woche. Als Spiellocale sind abwechselnd die Räume des Schachvereins Centrum und der Berliner Schachgesellschaft bestimmt. Die Turnierleitung liegt in den Händen der Herren P. Richter (Schachgesellschaft) und Dr. Hauser (Schachverein Centrum)." (1)

There are three prizes worth 100, 60 and 40 marks.
