Sylvester's Collection of Great Games
Compiled by Sylvester
--*--

These are the games I really like to play over.

My favorite players are Bobby Fischer, Paul Morphy, Mikhail Tal, Alexander Alekhine, Svetozar Gligoric, David Bronstein and Boris Spassky.

This is the best announced mate I have ever seen.

I love the mate by castling.

Alekhine calls this opening King's Fianchetto
Reti vs Alekhine, 1925
(A00) Uncommon Opening, 40 moves, 0-1

A real swashbuckler!
Bogoljubov vs Alekhine, 1922
