  3. 1980 (women's) candidates matches: Nana vs Elena
    <under construction>

    One of 4 quarterfinals, this one held at Kislovodsk. Dates are not certain (probably March); rounds appear to be transferred into the site field.

    Nana advanced to N Alexandria vs N Ioseliani, 1981 in the finals, but not the Game Collection: Women WCC Index (1981: Chiburdanidze-Alexandria) later on in 1981 at Borsomi and Tbilisi.

    12 games, 1980

  5. 1980 (women's) candidates matches: Nana vs Nona

    Nana Ioseliani tied Nona Gaprindashvili with a score of 7 -7, but the former advanced.

    One of 2 semifinals, this one held at Tbilisi in September. Nana advanced to N Alexandria vs N Ioseliani, 1981 in the finals, and the Game Collection: Women WCC Index (1981: Chiburdanidze-Alexandria) later on in 1981 at Borsomi and Tbilisi.

  14. 1981 Day's New York tournament(s)
    <under construction>

    Held at New York, but I'm not sure if these are <2> separate New York tournaments from 1981, whether the continental was held in New York as well, or whether there is a round mis-match:

    J Tisdall vs L Day, 1981 and V Zaltsman vs L Day, 1981 are both saying round 4 and J L Watson vs L Day, 1981 and L D Evans vs L Day, 1981 are both round 2! Day lived in Canada, but did he play 2 separate NY tournaments that year (or perhaps even - god forbid - a year/place in pgn tags could be wrong).

    17 games, 1981

  15. 1981 Ivanov - Spraggett
    <under construction>

    Held at Montreal. 5.5-3.5 for Ivanov in these 9 games (was this the entire length of the match?!)

    Not to be confused with the other Game Collection: 1987 Spraggett - Ivanov match.

    9 games, 1981
