you're definitely correct (I had figured you were). I just learned, from that second link, that the Stones first toured with the Everly Brothers and Bo Diddley. How cool is that! I also learned that Mick Jagger was exactly double my age last year. Thanks for the links and for rectifying my misconception. |

Eventually our antics in the local supermarkets, which we nicknamed <Fleischklauen>, necessitated a move to Cannes. As we left the town together we sang "Goodbye Villeneuve-Loubet". |

I would say "but not cannier than Cannes", but I've had a complex about that word ever since I had an interview for a scholarship to study in Germany and they asked me why I hadn't accepted some other scholarship I had been offered that year and when I said "I thought it would prejudice my chances for your scholarship," this one guy shouted "Canny!" and everybody snickered. |
