Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-17-14  Fisticuffs: not even interesting. lame game choice just for the pun I guess
Mar-17-14  ndg2: The model how not to play the KID for white
Mar-17-14  Doniez: IMO the exchange of WSB is a disaster for White, allowing the Black Queen to occupy the f3 square.
Mar-17-14  PaulLovric: 4th damn that frog

Sally Simpson: It's you average King's Indian 'Bread and Butter' game. Aspiring KID players will pick up more ideas from playing over and studying dozens of games like this than they will ever from Kapsarov's or Tal's games.

Seasoned KID players know most of their wins at our level come v this type of hesitant play from White.

The crash bang sac games which KID opening books use to lure potential KID players in are entertaining and make great copy, but as far as helping a newbie understand the opening they are practically worthless.

It's games like this you need under your belt as a foundation.

Mar-17-14  Moszkowski012273: Nice YouTube vids Sally...

Mar-17-14  kevin86: What is so great about this one? I could take one off the wall and do better.
Mar-17-14  yureesystem: Sally Simpson, totally correct. Most win from KID, are grind, especialy if you are playing against a strong opponent.
Mar-17-14  MelvinDoucet: It's an old KID game. This opening was rarely seen before WWII.
