GrahamClayton: Faced with the Schilling/Kostic/Blackburne Gambit, Johnson ignores the losing 4. Ne5 and instead goes for a sacrificial refutation with 4. Bf7+. Heikkonen's 8...h6 is a poor move; 8...h5 attacking the knight or development with 8...Nf6 are better options.
Nov-22-20  areknames: <Faced with the Schilling/Kostic/Blackburne Gambit> I had no idea that the bad move 3...Nd4 had so many names.

<Johnson ignores the losing 4. Ne5 and instead goes for a sacrificial refutation with 4. Bf7+.> No need, 4. Nxd4 is good enough.

<Heikkonen's 8...h6 is a poor move> Yes, it's really bad; like you say after 8...h5 or 8...Nf6 Black is just fine with a small advantage.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Quite a good pun, but not the best attack. 4.Nxd4,exd4; 5.0-0 will give White a safe advantage.
May-29-21  Cheapo by the Dozen: The 19th Century sent a telegram and wants its tactics back.

Fun game!

FSR: For another goofy win by White in the Blackburne Shilling Gambit, see Tran Nguyen Duy Tung vs NN, 2021.
May-29-21  Brenin: <FSR> Thanks for that link. Just imagine how it must feel to be able to write something like 16 Ke2# on your scoresheet!

An Englishman: Good Evening: <Cheapo by the Dozen>, pity CG doesn't offer a "LOL button" or similar--would have clicked that without a second thought.
