Mateo: <aw1988: This is an unbelievable game.> I have looked closely to this game. Why "unbelievable?" I do not see any big mistake.
Dec-17-05  Eatman: Unbelievable probably because white looked to be winning in the opening but then slowly got outplayed towards the end, yet managed to hold on for a draw. Very tenacious game. This game also had great meaning for determining qualifier for candidate matches. (I believe Beliavsky managed to qualify instead of Ulf due to this draw, Kasparov was first in this tournament btw).

Apr-24-06  Topzilla: The king was exposed by move 24, and seemed like White had a slighlty advatange, so, its amazing to have make a draw.

Christiansen wrote in <Chess Life> that the position around move 25 looked desperate for Andersson. I agree.

He also said that Andersson really should have won the ending.
