May-27-11  haine92: I dont understand this 18...c6 move . Gligo should take back his knight on the battlefield with 18...Nc6. After that, he terribly blundered with 19...c5 because he was afraid of the treath 20.b4 trapping the knight on c4 wich gives a free pawn for white. And also, maybe it was better to put the a rook on the c file and the f rook on the d file supporting the hanging pawns but I'm not sure about that .
Mar-12-14  morphyesque: Perhaps one of you bright sparks could enlighten me and explain why Gligoric did not play 19....Bxe5 for after 20.dxe5 Qxe5 he is a solid pawn up isn't he?

  perfidious: <morphyesque> After 19....Bxe5 20.dxe5 Qxe5 21.b4 Nc4 is not on because of 22.Rxc4, so Black must play 21....g5 22.Nd3, which looks unfavourable for him after 22....Nc4 23.Nxe5 Nxd2 24.Nxc6.
Jul-19-15  tivrfoa: <perfidious: <morphyesque> After 19....Bxe5 20.dxe5 Qxe5 21.b4 Nc4 is not on because of 22.Rxc4, so Black must play 21....g5 22.Nd3, which looks unfavourable for him after 22....Nc4 23.Nxe5 Nxd2 24.Nxc6.> In your line, what is the problem with 22. Rxc4? Wouldn't it be better for black? Up a pawn and the exchange?
