Sep-20-11  chillowack: I wonder why Black lost? Or is that an error?

Looks to me like Black has at least a draw in the final position.

perfidious: <chillowack> Korchnoi's 400 Best Games notes only that he lost, and I don't have my full collection of his games through 1977 anywhere to hand.

It would have been strange to lose such a position with eight moves remaining before the time check; Black can simply shuffle about till move 56, then play for a win.

Sep-20-11  sevenseaman: Obviously Black lost out on time.
Aug-08-12  chillowack: I agree, perfidious: it is far from obvious that Black lost on time here.
Mar-17-18  whiteshark: Final position
