  perfidious: Spassky displayed little ambition in most of his games played during his visit to New York in 1987, but mercilessly ground down a strong opponent in this matchup.
Apr-16-17  Granny O Doul: I remember watching a postmortem between Spassky and Spraggett (may have been that, maybe some other NYO). The game was drawn in about 14 moves but looking at a variation Spassky would make a fist and say "this is a war".
Apr-16-17  morfishine: A pity, Benko had many brilliant victories, but it seems his losses to brilliant play are showcased more often
