Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-30-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: It's black who plays bad, not that white is so good.
Jan-30-06  Matein42: I have no clue what so ever what black was doing in that game sacrificing the bishop for what compensation? I dont see anything wrong w/ the simple Bxe5 then Nc3,0-0,Be6 w/ a good position
Jan-30-06  Kangaroo: If you meant <10 ... Bxe5>, please consider <11. Qxc8+> - looks like White will get an extra bishop, which may be sufficient for the victory.
Jan-08-13  parisattack: Spending tempi opening lines for Tal can't be too good of an idea.

kingscrusher: Objectively 5.dxe5 seems quite controversial and supsect. Of course later Black blundered and self-destructed.

But for opening theoreticians, it seems the best option is 5.f3

I played a similar opening to black in an OTB game in Herts league and won with black.
