Honza Cervenka: Instead of 14...Ng5 black could have played 14...Nc5 saving the Knight, as 15.dxc5 is no option for 15...Bb5+ and 16...Qxd5.
Jul-07-21  Stolzenberg: d3 and d4! vs ... d6? and ... d5
Mar-14-22  Stolzenberg: The opening would perhaps better match to the Spanish Game, Classical Variation (C64): 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 Bc5 4. c3 Nf6 5. d3.

Instead of 5. ... d6 Black should have considered 5. ... 0-0 or 5. ... d5.

14. ... Nc5! would have saved the knight and would have left White with 2 pawns up but with weak white squares.
