Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-12-05  loudubb: Sloppy game in the beginning....however brilliant endgame by white to prevent promotion and win.
Nov-24-05  Xeeniner: is there any hope for black to draw since its an opp color bishop endgame?
Sep-23-08  I Offer You A Resign: <Xeeniner>
No, not really, because Black is not down just a pawn, or something. He is down 2.

Because of that, White's bishop can stay on that diagonal, and sack on h1 if Black tries to promote with Kh2-Kg1-h2 etc. If that's the case, White doesn't even have to worry anymore - the worst that can happen is a draw.

But, if Black decides to keep his pawn there, he'll have no chance of promoting it.

White's king will just march forward confidently, unhindered, and he will easily win the match.
