Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-27-05  offramp: Gligoric missed a pretty and unusual mate:
30...Ne5+ 31.Bxe5 Rxd1 32.Bxc7 e5 followed by Rd4#
Feb-27-05  WMD: In fact, they both missed the mate.
Feb-27-05  vonKrolock: <offramp> Commons missed indeed a beautyfull possibility... and if 32.Bb2 instead of <Bxc7>, then 32...e5 33.f4 (otherwise Rcd7 follows whith unavoidable mate in two) 33...ef and Black is winning
Feb-27-05  offramp: Oh yeah! I switched them around. A common error.
May-06-05  soberknight: House of Commons!

keypusher: Unfortunately it appears Lord never played Commons.
Jul-01-15  Howard: Just read about this game yesterday in an article about Commons' premature passing.
