Jan-23-12  Robed.Bishop: <The Focus> No, you shouldn't. He once posted that he doesn't make idle threats (see Joerg's post), so the next time he makes the threat to leave he might actually do it.

I don't believe it, but I'm just saying'...

Jan-23-12  galdur: OK, not 99.0% but 98.8% of active USCF members are ranked lower than LMAJ.

Apparently a rating of 700-750 lands one in the top 50%. Pretty amazing.

Jan-23-12  King Death: < galdur: ...Apparently a rating of 700-750 lands one in the top 50%. Pretty amazing.>

This must be the result of scholastic players being on the rolls. There aren't too many adults who play at that level for long I'll bet.

Jan-23-12  galdur: <King Death> Yes, probably 3/4ths of rated players are juniors.
Jan-25-12  Nemesistic: So AJ's pleading the fifth amendment on his "As a programmer..." quote?

Well "As a normal person,i think we can chalk off AJ's quote as yet more BS"..

Jan-25-12  timhortons: this you tube video is very disturbing.must be over 18 year old to watch it.

Jan-25-12  Nemesistic: Well after looking through Gizmo's web pages, i found something that proves AJ is lying about his claim to be a computer programmer!

He says that he's been a computer salesman for 30 YEARS! Not only that, but by the age of 14 he won some award for his skills as a salesman!!!

So..... Is it Policeman, armed forces, mountain climber, chess master, award winning salesman, computer programmer, teacher, psychologist,or the many other professions you've mastered over the years AJ??

More lies, tut tut.

Jan-26-12  JoergWalter: <Nemesistic: So AJ's pleading the fifth amendment on his "As a programmer..." quote?>

<LMAJ> started programming when the first computers became available. He is a true pioneer.

<LIFE Master AJ: Thanks for the posts, I really enjoyed it.

I will tell you a true story. When I was 12-14; (I don't remember exactly what year, early 1970's) ... I wrote a program, with an older fellow.

It was the FIRST program of its kind around here, it allowed the Escambia County to automate their check writing. (official pay-checks)

The fellow that I co-wrote it with, got all the money and all the recognition, I did all the programming work. It was my understanding that he got quite a bit of money, maybe thousands of dollars. (He gave my Mother a chunk of it, she would never tell me how much.)

I never saw a dime of it. I remember asking to go to a chess tournament (with maybe some of the money that I felt that I had earned) a few months later, and my Mom literally laughed in my face.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, I know a lot about hard work. My Dad and Mom got divorced when I was eight years old. I remember going out on a Saturday, working all day pushing a mower to make few bucks. When I first started, I had to reach up to grab the handles of the lawn-mower.

When I came home, I usally gave every cent of it to my Mother.

I think that's whats wrong with a lot of kids today, they have no clue of what really hard work is all about.>

Jan-26-12  timhortons: lets make this song the national anthem of aj goldsby game page republic.

we, the citezin of this page, basher and defender must all rise each time AJ will sing this song.

Jan-26-12  timhortons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEHX...

this song poetically express the feeling after trolling.

you dont need lyrics for it, all you need is just to express your self.

Jan-26-12  JoergWalter: <timhortons: heres the trololo song, just imagine aj singing it.>

Singing it in a karaoke bar.
Gets him killed on the spot. no need to try "my way".

Jan-26-12  timhortons: imagine if god will give aj the power to cursed anybody who bashed him and aj will let you listen any single moment of your life to troll national anthem.

Jan-30-12  King Death: < Rob Lob Law: Who is the AJ you speak of? I looked him up in the FIDE database and nothing came up...>

This isn't surprising, there are other players that did most of their playing before FIDE lowered the standards for getting a rating (like me but I managed somehow or other). <AJ> was more than likely a FIDE ~2200 player which was what you needed to be to get published for a long time. When FIDE changed their parameters I don't know but it's a sure thing that if <AJ> played in a FIDE event or two anywhere today, he'd have no problem. Even somebody much weaker could do that.

Troller: I have never played a FIDE event, let alone an elo rated event, and yet I am to be found on the FIDE website.

This game is turning into a narrative of its own, always amusing to follow.

Jan-30-12  King Death: <troller> Just now when looking up a couple of players on that site I ran into the same thing.
Feb-01-12  theagenbiteofinwit: First post of the month on this game. I'm going to answer some of my personal email.

<Prince Abdul Hassan Akimba>-I am sorry about your plight, but I'd feel uncomfortable transferring money to Nigeria. My chess coach is in Europe and when I wire money to him they really look at me weird at my bank.

<Dr. Smith>-I'm single right now, so I don't need any viagra at the moment, but thanks for the offer. It is amazing that there is a female equivalent of the drug though now. Perhaps it's a pic of LMAJ?

<chess.com>-I'll move when I'm ready.

<redhotpawn>-Same for you.

<USCF>-I know I have to renew my membership at the end of the month. And I'm broke so I'm not buying anything.

<NewInChess>-Same to you, have you checked the exchange rate lately?

<Victoria's Secret>-Okay look, I bought my gf something from your store ONCE and IT WAS NOT FOR ME. There is no reason to bombard my inbox every month. I promise you carry nothing whatsoever that I'll "look sexy in."

<USCF>-I am not interested in participating in the All-Girl state championship.

<twitter>-most of these followers are not real people, but links to dirty websites.

<Prince Raman Husta Ofastka>-If you guys have so much money, why not contact the UN as opposed to random people with email accounts?

<Amazon>-Thank you, I have enough investing books at the moment. And yes I love to read Science Fiction, but I'm being judicious with the money right now. And I'm really good on opening books, although the Openings According to Anand vol. 500 would complete the collection...

Well that's got it.

Feb-01-12  King Death: The last post makes me jealous, I haven't had one of them Nigerians send me a email promising me a bunch of money in at least a week!

WannaBe: <King Death> Sucks to be you, I've gotten so much $$$$ from the Nigerians, I am spending them on Rolex and Canadian Cialis/Viagra!
Feb-01-12  Robed.Bishop: <Wanna Be> You selfish bastard! There's a young girl in England who's parents just died tragically, of course, and she needs investing help and help getting the rest of her money released. I'll forward her email to you.
Feb-01-12  MORPHYEUS: theagentbit is riotously funny. Heh
Feb-01-12  King Death: <WannaBe> Yeah, I'll just have to suck it up and get a life or something.
Feb-01-12  TheFocus: <theagentbit is riotously funny. Heh>

Yeah, that was pretty darn funny.
