Feb-01-09  MarbleSkull: Thanks for the informative follow up, Resignation Trap.
Mar-07-09  outsider: people may wonder what petrosian was doing in the championship of Lithuania. the fact is, he was among three non-lithuanian players playing as guests. kholmov represented lithuania and lived in lithuania from 1949 onwards. by the way. prof. vytautas landsbergis, a prominent politician, presently a member of euro parliament came 10th in 20 people competition. if anybody wants, i might elaborate on this interesting tournament more
Jul-03-09  computer chess guy: In this opening, better is 14. d5 as in Lilienthal vs Smyslov, 1950.
May-03-18  archangelo spumoni: After Kholmov's 34...Nxf2 Petrosian played 35.Rb7?? Much better is 35.Rb1
Dec-21-19  siggemannen: 34...Nxf2 is gosh darn clever
