GrahamClayton: Zukertort played Simonson as part of a 12 board simultaneous exhibition at the Marshall Chess Club - is this the game?
Oct-28-19  SymphonicKnight: Amazing attacking game! I believe this was a correspondence game.

Stockfish suggests 18...Nf2!>...Nxd3...>...Nf4 valued over +2.0

Not 19...Bxe5, but 19....Nxe5! 20.dxe5 Bc5+!

Not ...20...c5?, but again 20...Nf2

The reason for playing the STUNNING 23.Bh7+!! (Best!) rather than 23.Qxf3 is very subtle and is amazing. This move shows that Zukertort was truly a worthy Challenger for the World Championship, and was a hint of the brilliance he showed shortly after at London 1883. He just would buckle due to the stress of playing such a match against Steinitz in 1886.
