Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-24-12  optimal play: What was Saint Amant trying to achieve with 24...d4? All it did was open up the a2-g8 diagonal for the White Queen, and Walker didn't miss a beat!
Oct-08-16  Aunt Jemima: Why not 24. Nxc8?

If 24...ed then 25. Nd6 and what exactly does white have?

beatgiant: At first glance, 24. Nxc8 exd4 25. Nd6 dxe3 appears to win back the piece in the near future via ...Qf2+ or, if 26. Bxe3, ...Qe1+.
Oct-09-16  Aunt Jemima: Beatgiant, you appear to be right. I missed the sneaky check on e1 that could win the piece back.
